Nick is the founder of CODYS productions and has a firm seat on our board of directors. With an unrivalled passion for musical theatre and an incredible eye for detail, Nick pulls everything together to create the amazing shows we bring to you.
From its in inception in 1996, Gemma was one of the first members. Staying with CODYS through, school, college and university Gemma is now on the board of directors. Gemma has a love for musical theatre like no other and works tirelesly with members to ensure eveybody is having fun, and getting what they deserve from CODYS. Gemma pulls the people together, ensuring the members have everything they require to put on an amazing show.
With no background in musical theatre but eager to learn, Tim is the latest edition to the CODYS board. What he lacks in experience in the industry, he makes up for with his passion for musical theatre and his hard working driven attitude. Always looking for the positive and searching for a solution to the problem, Tim brings outside the box thinking to the team. Tim also brings an unrivled ability to make amazing brownies.
With a keen head for numbers, Iris looks after the accounts! Making sure we have enough in the bank to put on the amazing shows we bring to you, Iris knows the budgets inside out! Iris reins us in when we, well, Nick and Tim, talk about ending a show with a firework display to top Sydney Harbour at New Year’s Eve! Iris ensures we are always on top of our finances, ensuring we can continue to afford to bring amazing shows to you!
With an eye for perfection and an ability to throw a costume fit for the queen together out of bin bags and a toilet roll, Reggi heads up the wardrobe team! Reggi works tirelessly keeping on top of our costume storage rooms and somehow knows where everything is! Whether its Josephs technicolour dream coat or Phantoms mask, Reggi is your lady! Reggi ensures our members look like west end stars on the stage!
With a passion for CODYS like no other, Denise organises all of our fundraising events! From after show parties to Easter egg tombola’s, Denise sorts everything out from event ticket sales through to the raffle and tombola prizes! Denise is the person you will always find front of house at our shows selling programmes and raffle tickets! Raising funds is a crucial part of our operations, our shows don’t come cheap, Denise is always on hand to help top up the pot!
With a committee this big, you can imagine how long meetings take! Cath is always there to document who said what to who and when! Without Cath, we would never know what we had agreed! We are unsure how Cath keeps up with what we are all saying, as the rest of us never can! Cath ensures we document everything that is agreed so we always know where we are up to! Without Cath we would never remember what show we were doing next!
With our members being aged 11 – 19, the protection of the youths in our rehearsals and shows is paramount! Amanda is our child protection officer and has a vast knowledge of what is required in order to keep our members safe and protected. Creating our safety policies, Amanda is a key player in ensuring we all know what is required to keep everybody safe and protected! Amanda is always there to ensure everybody feels safe!
In a similar role as Amanda, Jen ensures the protection and safety of our members. Jen is our head chaperone, looking after our members during show week. With an incredible protective instinct, Jen is always back stage at the shows ensuring all of the chaperones are where they should be, doing what they should be and when they should be! With Jen back stage we can all rest assured that there is NO chance there is ever going to be anybody back stage that shouldn’t be there!
